Gladys Stout Paul, age 97, of Asheboro died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Paul was born April 19, 1921 in Randolph County the daughter of Joseph Elwood and Mary L. Cooper Stout, and a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting for 70 years. She was formerly employed with A&F Vending Co. and retired from Acme-McCrary Hosiery Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Duncan Paul

She is survived by one son: Jerry Ray Paul and wife Iris of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren: Donna Wilder and husband Jeff of Greensboro, NC, Shirley Clark and husband Michael of Kernersville, NC; great grandsons, Tyler Duncan Paul and Allison Wilder, brother, Carl T. Stout of Asheboro, NC

The family would like to give thanks to all who gave time, love and attention to Gladys. Special thanks to her caregivers who spent many hours and days loving and caring for her. To Belinda, Gale, Wanda, Pam, Martha and Pastor David they give their undying thanks for the love you showed. There are many others who also gave love and time, Thanks to all of you also.

The graveside service will be Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road, Asheboro with Rev. David Millikan officiating.
