Edna Louise Kemp Moody, age 88, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House.
Louise Moody was born in Asheboro, NC on May 16, 1930 to Leverette and Edna Jane Beeson Kemp. She was a 1948 graduate of Asheboro High School and was retired from Black & Decker (formerly G.E.). She was a lifetime member of Asheboro Friends Meeting serving in many areas. Louise was a member of the Friendly Friends Sunday School Class, USFW, church choir, and formerly served as Clerk of the Ministry & Counsel. Mostly significantly, she was dedicated to her Friday afternoon visitations to the elderly and friends in need. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Moody.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane M. Stone (David Reid) of Lake Toxaway, NC; son, Andy Moody of Foxfire Village, NC; grandson, Corey Farmer of Niantic, CT; brother, Richard Kemp of Asheboro, NC; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 12:00-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Millikan and Rev. Pat Thames officiating.
Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
