Julia "Nell" Richardson Boling Harley

Julia Nell Richardson Boling Harley, age 86, of Asheboro went to her Eternal Heavenly Home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 12:00 to 12:45 at Faith Community Church, 4252 US Hwy 220 Business South, Asheboro, NC 27205.

A Celebration of her blessed life journey will be held at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Wayne Eller officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Seagrove, NC.

Mrs. Harley was born November 12, 1932 in Seagrove, NC, the daughter of Wendell and Mary Pearl Thomas Richardson.

Nell was a graduate of Seagrove High School and a faithful and dedicated member of Faith Community Church, where she loved serving the Lord. She left an amazing Godly legacy of a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, as she lead by example. In addition, she taught Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Seagrove, where she taught 5 of her grandchildren. One of her passions to teach all children about God and the plan of Salvation. Nell enjoyed gardening, listening to gospel music, attending gospel singing, and most of all sharing God's goodness and love with others. She attended Randolph Technical College, taking classes to enhance her skills in; advanced sewing/tailoring, cake decoration, quilting, crocheting, basket weaving, and she taught some classes at the Salt Box in Asheboro. Nell also enjoyed swimming, grilling, fishing, hiking with family and friends at her resident at Twin Harbor on Lake Tilley.

In addition to her parents, Nell was preceded in death by her husbands, David Efrid Boling of 47 years, Elmer Edwin Harley of 15 years, siblings, Clinton Richardson, Bobby Richardson, Benny Richardson, Louise Miller and Delores Richardson.

She is survived by daughters: Deborah Boling Garner and her husband Donald of Asheboro, and Karen Boling Russell of Asheboro; 5 grandchildren: Dr. Ginger Garner and husband Jeff Jablonski of Emerald Isle, Jeremy Garner and wife, Chasity of Asheboro, Jason Garner and wife, Vicki of Asheboro, Jennifer Garner and husband, Matt of Asheboro, and Amanda Ferrell and husband, John of Asheboro; 9 great-grandchildren: Michael, William and James Garner, Kinley Garner, Pierson and Cambridge Garner, Eli and Silas Garner and Harleigh Ferrell; siblings: Clarence Richardson of Virginia, Marie Drawbaugh of Florida and Ann Sugg of Seagrove.
