Edna Craven Rich Lineberry

Edna Jewel Craven Rich Lineberry, age 90, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Randolph Health.

Mrs. Lineberry was born in Randolph County on November 17, 1928 to Theodore Bascom and Lennie Sarah Cox Craven and was a 1945 graduate of Ramseur High School. She was retired from Pinehurst Textiles after 41 years of service. Edna was a member of West Bend United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Hector "Jack" Rich and Ervin Lineberry. Edna was always welcoming at her home and no one ever left her home hungry. She was an avid gardener and her passion was working in her yard often until dark.

She is survived by her son, Marc Rich and partner Missy Turney of Wilmington; step daughters, Gloria Hanson, Cheryl McIntosh and husband Julian, and Melinda Hyde and husband Neill all of Asheboro; and step grandson, Jason Hanson of West Jefferson.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road in Asheboro with Rev. Kari L. Howard officiating.
