Judith Lee Canoy

Judith "Judy" Lee Francis Canoy, age 79, of Asheboro died Sunday, June 16, 2019.

Mrs. Canoy was born May 28, 1940 in Fall River, MA to Milton and Adelaide Francis. She was very proud of her northern heritage.

Mrs. Canoy was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to cook and care for her family. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold Canoy; sons, Charles Canoy and wife Susan of Woodbridge, VA, James Canoy of Melbourne Beach, FL, John Canoy and James Bobbitt of Greensboro, daughters, Debra McKenzie and husband Mark of Randleman, Wanda Walls of Asheboro; grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Madison, Gillian, Michael, Wesley, Shaun and Kyle; sisters, Beverly Costa of Fall River, MA, Nancy Kessler of Sebaston Inlet, FL.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 11:00 - 12:30 at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Miller officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
