Patricia Ann Gouldsbery Keagy passed away on December 27th at her residence in Pittsboro, NC.
She grew up in New Castle and Anderson, Indiana and spent many happy memories with her maternal grandmother in New Castle, Indiana. Pat loved art and graduated from Ball State University with a Master's Degree in Art Education. She was a middle school art teacher for several years. During those years she married Oliver Keagy. She took on the unknowingly difficult job of raising two children whose mom had just passed away. They were married for 51 years until Oliver's passing in 2018.
Oliver and Pat spent many years travelling the country, doing art projects and quilting together. Pat loved to bake for others and use her creative talents to make special gifts for others. Pat's life was difficult due to her physical limitations, but she persevered and is now in Heaven free of those difficulties.
She is remembered by her stepson, Tom Keagy and his wife Natallia of Rocky Mount; her stepdaughter, Phyllis Culler and her husband Duane of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Jim Keagy and his wife Diana, Jonathan Chase Culler and Jacqueline Chea Culler.
