Douglas Ryan Moxley

Douglas Ryan Moxley, age 40, of Asheboro passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Duke University Medical Center. Mr. Moxley was born in Asheboro on November 11, 1979 to Ronnie Dale and Kim Lemonds Moxley. He received his electrical training at Randolph Community College and was employed as an Electrician for 20 years. Ryan was a Mason, a member of Balfour Lodge #188 A.F. and A.M. Ryan was preceded in death by his father. Ryan enjoyed playing the guitar and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Amy Abernathy Moxley; mother, Kim Lemonds Moxley of Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, Joseph Dale Moxley of Aynor, SC and Shannon Lee Moxley of Asheboro; grandparents, Gene and Mary Causey of Asheboro; aunt and uncle, Tina and Ziad Musleh of Greensboro; cousins, Reese and Ramsey of Greensboro; and good friends, Adam and Jason. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A memorial service will follow on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Butcher officiating and Bobby Marsh singer.
