Henrietta Kirkman Cranford, age 71, of Asheboro died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Mrs. Cranford was born August 5, 1948 the daughter of James Henry and Opal Smith Kirkman.
Henrietta was a native of Asheboro and was retired after many years of service from First National/Community One Bank. She was a long-time member of Cross Road Baptist Church. She volunteered at The Randolph Cancer Center and at Cross Road Retirement Center in the Memory Care Unit. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband: Phillip Lane Cranford; two daughters: Karla (Eric) McPherson of Asheboro, NC, Kelly (Carnie) Marley of Seagrove, NC; grandchildren: Kylie, Kaiden, and Kinsley McPherson, Brayden and Braxton Marley; three sisters: Louise (Alva Lee) Skeen of Asheboro, NC, Jane (Roger) King of Kernersville, NC and Martha (Mel) Vye of Akron, OH; and two brothers: Jim (Carol) Kirkman and Danny (Jamie) Kirkman both of Asheboro, NC.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Cross Road Baptist Church, 1566 Old Cox Road, Asheboro, NC from 1:00-1:45 PM. The Funeral Service will follow, at the church at 2:00 PM, with Pastors Gary Mason and Justin Curry Officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro, NC.
