Cole Richards

Charles Cole Richards, age 13, of Asheboro died Monday, March 9, 2020. Cole was true young gentleman who loved animals, especially the family pets. He enjoyed playing video games, being outdoors and swimming. He was a student at Southwestern Randolph Middle School. Cole was preceded in death by his papa, Patrick DePalma. He is survived by his mother, Nicole Richards; sisters, Jasmin and Savanna Richards; maternal grandparents, Vicki and Charles Richards; great grandmother, Joanne Miller and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at 5:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at UNC Hospital PICU for the care that they provided to Cole and the entire family. The family requests memorials be made to Randolph SPCA, 300 W. Bailey St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
