Rev. Kenneth Lee Green

Reverend Kenneth Lee Green, age 86, of Seagrove died Friday, April 24, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Green was born June 8, 1933 at Seagrove, NC the son of James Goodman Green and Zora Dell Wallace Green. Rev. Green was the Pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for 38 years. He was a loving Godly man who loved his family, his church family and was always willing to help others. Lee enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, serving God and his fellow man. He worked for Green's Sawmill for 40 years and for Luck's Inc. for 14 years. His priority in life was taking care of his wife, Mary Ann. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his son: Tony Green and his sister: Janie Lucas, and brother: James Green. He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Mary Ann Hunt Green, one daughter: Patricia (Max) Asbill of Seagrove, NC and two sons: Jimmy (Debra) Green of Asheboro, NC and Bobby (Teresa) Green of Asheboro, NC, grandchildren: Angie Wilson of Fayetteville, Melissa (Brian) Edwards, Darren (Karen) Asbill, both of Seagrove, Keith Green of Myrtle Beach, and Justin Green of Randleman, 8 great grandchildren, Sister: Kathy (Rufus) Williams of Seagrove, NC and two brothers: Colon Green of Seagrove, NC and Kirby (Faye) Green of Seagrove, NC, Pastor Green's body will lie-in-state, Sunday, April 26, 2020 from 12:00 - 5:00 pm and Monday, April 27, 2020 9:00 am - noon at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
