Benjamin Kater Mobley, Jr.

Benjamin Kater Mobley, Jr., age 57, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Mobley was born in Burlington, NC on May 24, 1962 to Benjamin Mobley, Sr. and Cherry Thomas Mobley. Ben was a grandmaster stone cutter. He was preceded in death by his mother. Ben was a very caring and giving man and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by his father, Ben Mobley, Sr. of Asheboro; sister, Ann M. Miles and husband James of Raleigh; nephew, David Miles; and extended family, Mary Ann Banker, Denise Burr, Bill Banker, Mark Banker, Alicia Jones, Brandon Burr, Troy Burr, Megan Banker, and Ben Banker. A private service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel.
