Linda Marie Moody Campbell, age 80, of Denton died Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
Mrs. Campbell was born November 22, 1939 in Chatham County to Hubert and Pauline Moody.
Mrs. Campbell was of the Baptist faith and was retired from B & H Panel. She loved her cats and enjoyed growing roses, listening to '50-'60's music and driving her Ford Mustang. Mrs. Campbell loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren deeply. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Preston Staley.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Campbell; daughters, Lora Wills and husband James of Franklinville, Kerry Staley of Denton, Diane Hallings and husband Matt of Denton; son, Billy Campbell, Jr. and wife Barbara of Asheboro; grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Curry and husband Charles of Thomasville, Christopher Lee McDowell of Randleman; 4 great grandchildren;
Sisters, Barbara Bowman and husband Melvin of Siler City, Helen Reynolds and husband Jerry of Bonlee, Peggy Lecroy of Bonlee; brothers, Tommy Moody of AZ, Steve Moody and wife Cathy of Siler City, Henry Moody and wife Brenda of Siler City.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 25, 2020 from 1-4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O'Henry Blvd., Greensboro.
