Martha "Marti" Stevens Brown

Martha "Marti" Stevens Brown, age 75, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Brown was born in Randleman on October 22, 1944 to Robert Forrest and Virginia Dare Canoy Stevens. She was retired from Acme-McCrary after 46 years of service. In addition to her parents, Marti was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen L. Brown. Marti loved her dog Wilson and enjoyed working and going to the beach. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Brown Mashburn and husband Tony of Lexington; step grandchildren, Jordan and Jared Mashburn; and brother, Jimmy Lee Stevens and wife Janice of Randleman. Mrs. Brown's body will lie in state on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 2:00-5:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A private graveside service will be held.
