Abraham Cabrera Ruiz, age 85, of Sophia died Friday, July 3, 2020 at home. Mr. Ruiz was born October 11, 1934 in Mexico, the son of Franciso Cabrera Mtz and Martha Ruiz Gonzales. He is survived by his wife: Maria de Jesus Puent Cabrera; sons: Juan Cabrera Puent and wife, Francisca Hdz, Gerardo Enrique Cabrera Puent and wife Delfina Rios and Francisco J. Cabrera Puent and wife Claudia Ibalva; daughters: Norma M. Cabrera Puent and husband Rafael Reyna and Elsa Patricia Cabrera Puent and husband Joel Aviles; grandchildren: Joel Aviles and Brittany Aviles, Ricardo Reyna Cabrera, Alejandre Gudelupe Cabrera, Steve Aviles, Mary Fer Cabrera, Juan Abraham Cabrera, Abril Cabrera, Carlos Reyna Cabrera, Javier Cabrera, Mayela Cabrera, Gandhi Cabrera, Gabriela Aviles Cabrera, Isabel Cabrera, Derrick Cabrera, Monce Cabrera, Melany Cabrera, Ana Reyna Cabrera and Daniela Cabrera; great grandchild: Roselyn Patricia Aviles. Mr Ruiz will lie in state Monday, July 6, 2020 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm and Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203. A chapel service will be held at 11:00 am. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro.
