Brindella May Sypolt Lutsie, age 83, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Lutsie was born in Morgantown, WV on December 18, 1936 to Robert William and Pearl Edith Metheny Sypolt. Brindella was a homemaker with a heart of gold. Her family always came first, and she was very involved with her children's activities, as well as with their teammates. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Brindella was a volunteer with Randolph Hospital, and along with her husband, a volunteer with Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen. She never met a stranger and always made everyone feel special. In addition to her parents, Brindella was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Whipkey, and brothers, Robert and Harry Sypolt.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Anthony Lutsie; daughters, Alice Colwell of Thomasville, Anita (Jack) Harrison of Asheboro, and Brenda Lane of High Point; grandchildren, Emily (Andy) Johnson of Franklinville, Anthony Harrison of Asheboro, and Abby Lane of High Point; and great granddaughter, Gracie Harrison.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 12:00 noon-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Darryl Alexander officiating. Burial will be held in Randolph Memorial Park.
