Donald Ralph Simmons

Donald Ralph Simmons, age 76, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. He was born on May 6, 1944 to the late Clyde Simmons and Myrtle Lee Simmons. Donald loved horseback riding and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid fisherman and built furniture for Wagner Wood Craft. In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his late wife, Betty Fowler Simmons; son, Marshall Wayne Simmons; daughter, Lois Fay Simmons; and his brother, J.C. Simmons. Donald is survived by his son, Ralph Simmons and wife Linda of Sophia; daughter, Glenda Jarrett and husband Chris of Randleman; grandson, Travis Simmons and wife Kayla; and great grandson, T.J. of Stoneville; sister, Beatrice Stewart of Virginia; brother, Ray Simmons and wife Sandra of Clarendon, and many nephews and nieces. A service will be held at a later date.
