Sharon Darlene Glenn

Sharon Darlene Weaver Glenn, age 78, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Glenn was born July 28, 1942 the daughter of George and Beulah Curry Weaver. Sharon was a native of Miami, Oklahoma. She received her teaching degree from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. Sharon also earned a master’s degree in Counseling in addition to many other certifications, including her private pilot’s license. Sharon worked for many years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. She took great joy in helping others. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and watching birds, especially hummingbirds. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Stewart Glenn; daughter, Stacey Osborne and husband Larry of Clemmons; and her granddogs, Colby, Pepper, and Jack. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sharon's honor to the organization of the donor's choice.
