Charles M. Copple, 94, of Asheboro, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, August 21 at the Randolph Hospice House.
A private service will be held with Rev. Jeffrey Wright officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2020 from 12 noon until 5 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, NC.
Charles was born and raised in Farmer, NC, to Robert P. Copple and Bertha Thompson Copple. He was a high school graduate from Farmer School. He was the owner and operator of Randolph Farm Equipment, Inc. from 1970 until 2010 when it closed. He was a member of The Gideons International, and author of two books. Charles loved to travel and was privileged to visit many states in our great nation as well as many foreign countries. He is very loved and will be greatly missed.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife LaRue A. Copple, brothers, Robert T. Copple, Joseph D. Copple and sister, Hazel D. Richardson, , step-daughter Paula Smith, nephews Davey W. Copple and Earl Greene, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth (Lib) Delk Craven Copple, of the home, daughter, Gwen C. Wright and husband, Reece, grandchildren Susan D. Wright, and Jeffrey R. Wright and wife, Dana, great grand-children, RJ, Jeremiah, and Sadie Wright, step-daughter, Donna Craven, sister Dot C. Shoe, sisters-in-law Betty S. Copple, Shirley L. McNeill, husband James (Buddy), Barbara Maness, brother-in-law Charles (Red) Delk and wife Carolyn, nieces and nephews, Kaye Atwood and husband Jerry, Judy Cole and husband Barry, Allen Copple and wife Kay, Mark Shoe and wife Debbie, Donnie Copple, Jerry Surratt and wife Marvene, Roger Greene and wife Ann, Janice Greene, Brenda Greene, Vickie Greene and husband Sam, Karen McNeely and husband Mike, Dana Lanning and husband Larry, Diane Crouse and husband Wayne.
