Martha (Cris) Leonard Miller

d. November 25, 2020

Martha (Cris) Leonard Miller was called home to her Savior whom she loves on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. She was born on August 17, 1947 in Davidson County to Glenn and Betty Leonard of Thomasville, NC. She is survived by her father, Glenn Leonard, of Thomasville, NC, her loving husband, Fletcher Miller of Asheboro, NC, her two children, Brian and Jenn Miller of Hickory, NC and Alicia Miller of Durham, NC, her brother, Rick Leonard of Thomasville, NC, her adoring grandchildren, Kayla and Jeremy Mitchell of Morganton, NC and Hagan Miller of Drexel, NC, and her step-grandchild Makaela Conklin of Hickory, NC. Cris loved Jesus and her family, shagging with her husband Fletcher to their favorite beach music, and was the most fashionable lady who loved shopping and cleaning her warm and welcoming home, where she enjoyed a bowl of ice cream every day, while managing to stay tiny nonetheless. She was gentle and kind, with a firecracker personality that made others laugh, was a true peacemaker, great listener and faithful friend to many. She was a deeply loved and devoted mother and her beautiful life continues to influence and shape the lives of her two children, Brian and Alicia. To stay safe and healthy, the family will have a 'drive-by' receiving line at the family's home (648 Cardinal Street, Asheboro, NC 27203) on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The family kindly asks for you to stay in your car and wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Memory Care Center at Crossroads Retirement Community (1302 Old Cox Rd. Asheboro, NC 27205) in honor of Cris. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants. Psalm 116:15
