Robert Lee "Bobby" Satterfield

Robert Lee "Bobby" Satterfield, age 80, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Satterfield was born in Montgomery County on May 30, 1940 to Clarence and Lottie Crabtree Satterfield. Bobby was formerly employed with Asheboro Hosiery and retired from Klaussner Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Saundra Hoover "Sandy" Satterfield; son, Shannon Satterfield (Victoria) of Asheboro; and grandchildren, Aaron, Zachery, Joseph, and Elijah. Bobby's body will lie in repose on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10:00-11:30 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the New Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1293 Union Church Road in Asheboro with Rev. Lynn Watts Cash and Dr. David Satterfield officiating. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family asks everyone attending to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203 or New Union United Methodist Church, 1293 Union Church Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
