Jacqueline Mae "Jackie" Curtis Roberson

Jacqueline Mae "Jackie" Curtis Roberson, age 93, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. Mrs. Roberson was born in Davidson County on December 26, 1926 to Elwood and Madge Bates Curtis. She was a graduate of Lexington High School and was retired from Black & Decker. Jackie was a former member of the Salvation Army Church. Jackie loved cats. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Roberson and her brother, Augustus E. Curtis. She is survived by her son, Joseph A. "Joe" Roberson and wife Gina of Asheboro; and grandchildren, Christopher Roberson, Andrew Roberson, and Riley Roberson all of Asheboro. Jackie's body will lie in repose on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 11:00 am-12:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Lexington City Cemetery with Mike Thompson officiating.
