Khamtanh Chanthadara

Khamtanh Chanthadara age 65, of 735 Spencer Ave., Asheboro died Monday, November 26, 2001 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Chanthadara was the son to the late Mha late Thong (Jaikanh) Chanthadara Mr. Chanthadara was a native of Vietaine, Laos and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of a French School in Laos and Law & Business School. He was a former mayor of the City of Bao-o, Laos. He is survived by his wife: Youphin Chanthadara; daughters: Sammy Ownesivixay, Anan Chamaley, Thidavanh Tip Thompson all of Asheboro, NC, Souan Chu of High Point, NC; sons: Phonesavanh John Chantadara and Sayanh Chathadara of Asheboro, NC, Keophoangphan Chanthadara of High Point, NC; 9 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren; brothers: Khamphat Chanthadara and Khamvat Chanthadara of Laos. Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2001 from 1-3:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. The funeral will be Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 3:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro.
