Mildred Brower Keeling

Doris Mildred Keeling, age 91, of Asheboro died Monday, January 4, 2021 at Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Keeling was born February 20, 1929 in Randolph County to Rufus and Victoria Brower. She was retired from Stedman Manufacturing and was affiliated with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Keeling enjoyed going to yard sales and traveling to the mountains and the beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Melvin Keeling, son, Lloyd Melvin Keeling, Jr., 2 grandsons, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers. She is survived by daughters, Catherine DeHart of Asheboro, Judy Ritter and husband Archie of Asheboro; sons, Randy Keeling of Ramseur, Ricky Keeling of Asheboro; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Keeling will lie in repose Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5474 Pleasant Hill Road, Seagrove with Rev. Joe Loflin officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Randolph, especially Wendy Medley, for the care given to Mrs. Keeling while in their care.
