Thomas McKinley Hodgin, age 72, of Climax died Friday, April 9, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mr. Hodgin was born April 2, 1949 the son of Henry John Hodgin and Lillie Belle Black Hodgin.
Mr. Hodgin was faithful member of Liberty Road Baptist Church and loved the Lord. Tommy enjoyed riding on his heavy equipment machinery and working along side his grandson Johnny. He loved racing and spent many nights at Caraway Speedway with his friends and family. Tommy never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was and is greatly loved and will be missed by so many.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years: Barbara Ann Hodgin in 2015.
He is survived by his children: Mark Isom and his wife Candy, Randy Isom, Shawn Tucker and her husband, John; grandson, John Bradley and his wife Sherry; granddaughter: Hannah Isom; great grandchildren: McKenzie Bradley, Alexis Bradley, Angelina Nava, JoVoni Nava and Juliana Bradley.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Liberty Road Baptist Church, 2179 WOW Rd., Randleman with Pastor Don Ashley, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
