Janet Lynn Lednum, age 64, of Greensboro passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her home. Janet was born in Asheboro on July 20, 1956 to William Hoover and Fleta Mae Hogan Lednum. She formerly attended First Baptist Church in Staley and more recently attended Kingdom Vision Church in Greensboro. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Ferguson. Janet enjoyed attending family gatherings and parties. She loved spending time with everyone, from the kids to the adults. She is survived by her brother, Tim Lednum and wife Susan of Ramseur; sister, Julie Cook and husband Melvin of Asheboro; nephews, Jeremy Lednum and Wesley Ferguson; and niece, Rena Ferguson Schmidt. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 1:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Staley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DAV Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
