Dean Millner

Melvin Dean Millner, age 57, of Randleman died Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Mr. Millner was a native of Lynchburg, VA, attended Asheboro High School and was a US Army veteran. He was formerly employed with Klaussner Furniture and was presently working at CDC Casting in Archdale. Dean was an avid fan of the bands AC/DC and Kiss. He also enjoyed watching the Greensboro Grasshoppers play baseball. Dean was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Lee Millner and stepbrother, Johnny East. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lara White Millner; mother, Linda Wilson of Ocean Isle Beach; father and step-mother, Melvin and Millie Millner of Randleman; sons , Jamie Millner of Randleman, Chris Millner and wife Jessica of Randleman; grandchildren, Justin, Liam and Carter Millner; brother, David Millner and wife Donna of Asheboro; mother and father-in-law, Houston and Maxine White of Level Cross; sister-in-law, Letha Spencer of Randleman; nieces, Krystal White of Randleman, McKenzie Hubbard of Randleman; step-brother, William East of High Point, Gerald East of Sophia; step-sister, Linda Maness of Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends Friday, May 28, 2021 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating.
