Margaret Elizabeth "Beth" Luck, 43, of Asheboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Randolph Hospice House.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynda Ferguson and Rev. Edward Ramsey officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.fumcasheboro.org.
Beth was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed helping with the Monday Night Meals. She attended Asheboro High School and graduated from Faith Christian School in Ramseur. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated with a Masters Degree from UNC-Greensboro. Beth was a life-long fan of UNC sports and the Carolina Panthers!
Beth was an EC teacher at Southwest Randolph Middle School, Asheboro High School and North Moore High School for 19 1/2 years. She loved teaching and every one of her students. Beth coached soccer at all three schools and loved to win! She influenced many young people to work hard and to do their very best. Ocean Isle Beach and Emerald Isle Beach were her favorite places to be with her special friends and family.
Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Doncella Davis Luck and, step-sister, Felecia Cox Hayes.
She is survived by her father, Jerry W. Luck and step-mother, Diane Farlow-Luck; sister, Annette Luck; niece, Madison Elizabeth Luck; step-brother, Brad Cox; step nephews, Lucas Hayes (Cate), Dillon Hayes (Julia); uncle and aunt, Ronnie and Susan Davis and family and many other family members and special friends.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the Hospice team and everyone at the Hospice House for their wonderful care and to the special friends and family who supported Beth during her long battle with cancer.
