Nettie White

Nettie Bowman White, age 101, of Asheboro died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. White was born November 2, 1905 the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Monnett) Bowman. Mrs. White was a native of Guilford County and attended First United Methodist Church. She was the widow of George M. White. She loved gardening and Coca Cola. She is survived by one brother and his wife: Grady and Zelma Bowman of Julian, NC Funeral services were held be Monday, September 3, 2007 at Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro with Rev. Michael Holder officiating.
