Minnie Edith Pierce, age 77, of 219 Sawyersville Rd., Asheboro died Friday, October 5, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Pierce was born March 3, 1930 in Tabernacle, NC the daughter of Clifford Lee and Eliza Jane Gallimore Hunt. She was of the Methodist faith, and was employed by Mr. and Mrs. Stan Radford and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Cooley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Eliza Jane Gallimore Hunt, her husband, Harlan Pierce, her sister, Doris Hawks, and her brothers, Lloyd Hunt, Bill Gallimore and Ray Hunt. She is survived by a Daughter and her husband, Robin and Roy Frisby of Trinity, daughter and her husband, Ronda and Robert Bunting of Asheboro; grandson and his wife, Michael and Angela Hoover of Asheboro, grandson, Brandon Hoover of Winston-Salem; great grandchildren: Kelsey, McKenna and Tyler Hoover; sister: Collen Tolly of Las Vegas, NV; sister and her husband, Nancy and Johnny Harvell of Asheboro; brother and his wife, Lee Roy and Dafine Hunt of Trinity, brother and his wife, Wade and Lois Hunt of Asheboro, brother and his wife, Richard and Shelby Hunt of Asheboro, brother and his wife, Kenneth and Sandra Hunt of Trinity. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 6th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave. in Asheboro. The funeral will be Sunday, October 7, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Mt. View Independent Methodist Church, 1530 Mt. View Church Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Lee Roy Hunt, Mr. Johnny Harvell, and Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Mt. View Independent Methodist Church, 1530 Mt. View Church Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205 OR Hospice Of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
