Gilbert Frazier

Marion Gilbert Frazier, age 87, of 2382 Mulberry Academy St., Franklinville died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm. at Patterson Grove Christian Church Cemetery, 773 Brady St. Ext., Ramseur with Rev. Charles Fricke officiating. Mr. Frazier was born on January 24, 1923 in Franklinville, the son of James (Max) and Pearl Frazier. He was retired from Jockey in Cedar Falls as a mechanic after 35 years of service and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Douglas Frazier. Gilbert was a loving husband. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Jennings Frazier of the home; sons, Eugene Frazier and wife Bonnie of Franklinville, Gary Frazier and wife Debbie of Franklinville; daughters, Deborah Brady and husband Ty of Franklinville, Lakuita Walker and husband Tim of Franklinville; sisters, Eldred Brown of Franklinville; Armeta Greeson of Franklinville; Carolyn Fricke of Raleigh; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
