Harold Thomas Hinson

Harold Thomas Hinson, age 71, of 4980 Old Lexington Road, Asheboro died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Hinson was born May 26, 1939 the son of James and Etta Comer Hinson. The family will receive friends Monday, June 7, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro with Pastor J. C. Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Mr. Hinson was a native of Anson County and a member of Asheboro Pentecostal Holiness Church. Harold never met a stranger and loved to talk. He could build anything and formerly worked at Plastics Color Chip and Hedgecock Builders. He was retired from both Lowes Hardware and Energizer of Asheboro. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter: Lakita Lusk. He is survived by his wife: Karen Hicks Hinson; son and his wife, Craig and Jan Hinson of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife, Eric and Keila Hinson of Asheboro, NC; Son-in-law, Gerald Lusk of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter, Anna Vuncannon; grandson, Jacob Lusk; granddaughter, Kelsey Lusk; grandson, Chade Hinson; granddaughter, Carris Hinson; brother and his wife, Charles and Betty Hinson of West End, NC; sister and her husband, Alene and Ed Reeder of Seagrove, NC; brother and his wife, Hubert and Wanda Hinson of Jackson Springs, NC; brother and his wife, Phillip and Ann Hinson of Rockingham, NC.
