Phil Aland Grant

Phil Aland Grant, age 60, of 1844 Oak Dr., Asheboro died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his home. A graveside service, with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard, will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Road, Asheboro with Rev. Garland Hall and Rev. Josh Evans officiating. Mr. Grant was a native of Chatham County and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Wilson Grant; sons, Joshua Phillip Grant and his wife Gina of Asheboro, Lukas Daniel Grant and his wife Danielle of Ramseur; grandchildren, Caleb I. Grant of Asheboro, Brynn M. Grant of Ramseur; sister, Jean Laughlin of Thomasville; and brother, Donnie Grant of Ramseur. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
